You know, I'd try and sell you on the character for whom there is a pretty direct Dune mapping, but I don't know how far you've gotten and it is deeply spoilery.
No spoilers please! It's bad enough that I already know that a few characters who are supposed to be dead, based on the teaser trailer and the few episodes I did see.
