You should join and learn this all firsthand.
Very nice website. It beats that Carless in Chicago or Carfree Chicago website that has a Metra station excursion map helper thingie. That website's kind of ugly and difficult to use.
I hope Just off the tracks expands to other lines. I think another line it should explore is the UP-West. That has a lot of interesting little towns, like Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, and Geneva.
