Wow. Why does CTA own these random buildings? Kind of a mystery.
CTA isn't advertising the old Garfield Green Line station house. It'd be make a nice coffee shop...if the neighborhood ever turns around enough to justify one.
According to Hilkevitch, the empty lots next to the Brown Line were buildings that the CTA bought and tore down so they could redo the stations.
