So.... was there a transition from "car free" to "car less?" Or is "car free" still to come? There's a semantic quandary.

Oh, are you asking about the title? It's supposed to be a pun, but I haven't seen the phrase "general carelessness" often enough lately for it to make any sense. It was also something of an inside joke with he who does not bike back when were were still dating. As he appears to have sold his car sometime in the past year, I suppose ended up with the last laugh after all.
Besides, when you arrive at the gates of Hell, are you said to be hope-free?
