Architecturally Significant Independent Bookstores of Southeastern Hyde Park

Alright, since at least two people to my knowledge now have taken me halfway seriously, what the hay, let's see about inventing this thing. My two nominations are the Robie House Museum Shop and The Big Idea at the Museum of Science and Industry.

It's probably too late for me to claim that I really knew there was no such map, but that I was just playing along...

But if there were, the U of C bookstore building would have to be on it, for sure! If the bookstore made better use of the space, it could be awesome inside, but it is certainly cool on the outside, and very unique among university buildings.

But it's run by an Evil Corporation!

Oops, brain fart. Not only is it run by an evil corporation, but it's also in southwestern Hyde Park. Oh well.

Is the Seminary Co-Op architecturally significant? Does the Oriental Institute shop sell books?
