Evolution is Not Just a Theory
(From Bad Astronomy Blog, of course. Is there anything Phil Plait can't do or find? Oh dear, do I have a female man crush?)
Edit: Okay, settle down, HIPSters. Upon closer inspection I too see several things not quite right here, but in a world where people demand simple, two-minute explanations and catchy sound bites, I think this little page does the job well enough.

I'm not a Chicago alum! I fled there after a single year. Long story...
Anyway, the author of the Theory page sent me a note, so I didn't even have to find it! I found out a while back that once you achieve a critical mass on the web, you don't have to seek out stories. They find you. :-)

I'm still hanging around after seven, but at least now they give me money.
I'm not a scientist, but if I remember 6th grade science class correctly, wouldn't it be called the Hypothesis of Evolution if we weren't fairly certain of it?
Just for "equal time" (and to see if this makes your head explode -- can that bike helmet hold everything together?)... There is a dinosaur museum in downtown Glendive, Montana, but this one (which is being built next to I-94 so everybody sees it) purports to teach "the scientific facts... that insist upon creation and absolutely demolish evolutionism’s nonsense." I also found a list of similar "museums." Sheesh.
